4. Do Meditation

Meditation decreases the feeling of lust and helps you have better control over yourself. 

It’s the habit of successful people. So you need to incorporate meditation in your daily routine.

So to use your time wisely and get out of the addiction, you need to find a new habit that is aligned with your life purpose. Something that makes you a better person and also fulfills your end goal.

In this way, you’ll at least have something to do instead of just watching porn and masturbating all day long.

So how do you find a new habit?

I’ll give you three simple steps to create a new habit.

STEP 1: Choose a habit that is also aligned with your end goal. Something that makes you happy and a better person.

STEP 2: Write it down on a piece of paper and stick it somewhere you can see and read it daily.

STEP 3: Just do it!

Examples:

Let’s take a few real-life examples to put those steps into action.

Example 1: My life purpose is to build helpful websites. So to fulfill that purpose, I needed a handful amount of habits. But the most important habit is writing and reading.

So I will write it down on a piece of paper and will stick it above my monitor (as I spend most of my time on my desk).

Then I will start writing about 1000 words each day to improve my writing skills. I’ll be also reading a lot of books. I may also sign-up for a writing course to increase my skillsets.

By doing this, my time will be spent wisely and I’ll have no time & reason to watch porn

Example 2: Let’s say your life purpose is to become a bodybuilder.

First, you need to identify the habits that will fulfill your life purpose. And in this case, it’s exercising and eating a healthy diet.

Then you have to get a GYM membership, hire a personal trainer, buy some proteins and eat healthy food daily.

You also have to write it down on a piece of paper and stick it somewhere you go frequently.

And whenever you will read that paper, you’ll be motivated and excited to fulfill your goal. 

And eventually, you’ll be so busy that watching porn will be impossible.

Phase 3(20 – 30 Days)

This is the last phase of the 3 Phase Process. This will be the easiest phase and you’ll not have too many troubles. But still, you need to take one last action in this phase.

Socializing keeps you away from all types of addictions, helps you stay happy, improves your mental health and more

That’s why you should go out and start socializing with people like your friends, family member, co-employee or anyone close to you.
